Can't decide which route to take.

I'm at a bit of an impass. I can't decide whether I want to boost my car, or keep it NA. What have you guys done, any regrets going either way. My first thought is to boost it, but I don't want to put unnescessary wear on the motor. It's my daily driver, just shy of 50,000 miles, any problems boosting it now? And Turbocharger or Supercharger? I've thought about going NA and just using nitrous, but I can't really see myself doing that. I'd rather have it all there all the time.

Honestly, no one can make that answer for you here. You have to weigh the pros and cons of going N/A or going boosted and if you do decide to go boosted, you MUST be ready for any minor to major issues that do arise.

There is alot that goes onto boosting than slapping a turbo or supercharger on your vehicle and driving away...you have tuning to worry about, possible heatsoaking, possible wear and tear, fuel upgrades, possible computer issues, how to solve computer issues, what products will benefit you in the long run...list goes on.

Basically my advice is look at the people who have stayed N/A with the ECOTEC and people who have Turbo'd. Find out what your power goal is...do you want to run 14s? 13s? 12s? Find out who has run those times. How did they do it? What problems they had? Just ask alot of questions.

Also, being that it is your daily driver...can you afford downtime?

I hope this helps you give some insight on what things you need to think about and what route to go to answer these questions that you need to ask yourself. If you need any further help, just ask.
