The Venom manifolds are wastes of money and never buy from Mantapart.

Saab 9-5 to be exact, I think the only modification you have to do is to drill a hole where the throttle body sit, since the saab one is electronic

I believe that is correct. I don't know how much better it flows over stock but I believe it's an improvement

yeah that would be great. Or a part number so I can order one.

it is actually the saab 9-3 2003 to present. it costs about 150-200 depeneds....you need to do some work on it ta make it work......easy work. it bolts up just fine. you need to drill/tap a hole for the throttle body. I havent actually run it yet cause im doin an eco swap. There may be an issue with the vaccum booster but i havent got to that point yet.
im assuming that the hole on the top of the manifold on the right side. I havent worked on it in awhile so im just takin it easy.

man that looks great. I am running boost so I just want the metal manifold. I will check in on it. Where did you get yours?

Part number is 55352121, I'll check it out to be sure...

Snowman, How much saab do you have in your car? just the turbo and IM?
Did you use the stock charge pipe off the 93 that goes under the engine? Because that would seem ideal.

It def. looks like the stock head and no oil cooler, so 2.2 eco?

on the car is just the intake manifold and turbo manifold. and injectors and valve cover....not in picture

Re: metal intake manifold

I would not use it on a naturally aspirated engine, but on a boosted it is good.

and where can you buy this?

saab dealership less than 200 bucks

Re: metal intake manifold

So wait, how much can i bore out these manifolds? My new throttle body is 72mm and I need a new intake manifold that can take this much from the throttle body, venom and gm sell it for way too much and I can't find anything else.

Re: metal intake manifold

there isnt much material to bore out......and 72 that seems to be a lil overkill

I severly doubt you have an eco TB that big LS1's are 61 and they make cav mototrs hela twitchy

72mm performance throttle body, for boost, have not put the tb in yet, not done buying all the parts. And they said that I would need to drill out a hole, how big of a hole can I drill out?

I'll probably give it a try for this intake. When I'll have some extra cash and the time to dyno it before and after... 72mm is way too big.... it's a cavy that you have not a drag car

totally agree, it's been tried over here in Europe and it gives no improvement over stock, best improvement is porting the stock inlet manifold.

as for the 71mm TB, I'm running a 68mm electronic TB on my highly modified 2.2 ecotec and it does give more power over the stock 58mm TB

if a supercharged engine pushing 200bhp has a 68mm TB, then a 2.2 na pushing 190bhp needs a similar size

"if a supercharged engine pushing 200bhp has a 68mm TB, then a 2.2 na pushing 190bhp needs a similar size"

that isnt true , the s/c requires alot more air flow than a n/a motor will

maybe if teh n/a motor was about 250+ hp then it might need a tb that big

but you cant compair s/c power to n/a power to turbo power , when it comes to tb size

Why wouldnt it be a good idea to put the saab manifold on a n/a engine. the saab's manifold is not really that much bigger, just a couple mm.

It attracts heat/ heat soak.
