Its called the NVG T550. It came in 92-94 Z24s (just to be clear here- it DID NOT come with the 2.2). It is an updated version of the Getrag/Muncie HM282.
Also came with 2.3L H.O.'s on N and L cars.

You're right. I didn't mention it because the case is different and won't bolt up to the 60degV6 or 2.2. The gears can be used out of it though.
