I got A weapon r secret air intake and i am very happy with it. It is super responsive. You can find it on ebay for about 200 bucks shipped, and it comes with the filter recharge kit. It is supossed to be good for 8-12 hp. Sounds great between 3000 and 5200 rpm at wot.

Basicly, as long as you dont have Boxy corners and a smaller diameter then stock, its fine.

I have the ractive intake on my Z, I've been happy with it. Just make sure you replace the filter with a K&N on and your good to go. An intake is an intake is an intake, they're pretty much all the same, filters aside.

You'll notice gains with basically any filter and piping upgrade.

If you're interested in the weapon-r filter, check out www.definedparts.com and you can find them for good prices.

If you do get the weapon r do not replace the filter. It is much higher flowing than the k&n and the intake is designed to work with it. I do notice a difference with this intake and am very happy with it. You could buy any intake i'm not saying that any others are bad but i am very happy with mine.

Remember that the J-body platforms share most parts, including motors.

Example:

1999 Z24 has the 2.4 motor
1999 GT has the 2.4 motor

2003+ Cavaliers have the 2.2 ECOTEC
2003+ Sunfires have the 2.2 ECOTEC

Just a side note...

Most people will argue all day and night but the stock filter has enough flow if your not boosted or using nitrous.

Anyways as long as it has a tube and a filter its an intake. And they all do the same thing.

^ doesn't look like it will make it to the throttle body. and as long as the filter is a gauze filter it should be fine. no need to replace.
