Difficulty of Pacesetter install?
Friday, November 25, 2005 7:18 PM
All right, anyone who's following the progress of my car knows I'm in the middle of an 03+ rear conversion. The problem is, my exhaust needs to be bent to fit in the center of the bomex rear. (4.5" tips, 4" hole) I want to cut down on the exhaust shop expense, since they want $179 just to install the header. I'm asking how difficult it would be for just one person (me) to do it, and about how long? Any help appreciated.

I installed the Pacesetter header on my 2200 in just under 2 hours, and that was taking my time. Having ramps and jacks make it alot easier too.

Took me about 4 hours with my eco... would have been alot less but I had to cut through the exhaust pipe with a hack saw instead of a sawza

The only thing you may have a problem with is the flange on the ball joint... that was a SEVER pita, and I had to get a friend to help me with that
