Hey guys i wanted to ask you peoples about some mounts on carcustoms.net....I was looking on there and saw the top and bottom motor mount and was going to get that but was wondering how hard it is to install..Also the other question is about the tranny mounts do they actually work good and how hard is the install...Thanks..

motor mounts are easy to install, if you have a jack you're all done. Install the lower one and then the upper one (you must jack the motor "carefully" to relieve the stress on the mount) if you jack it up correctly the installation of the new one will work like a charm. Someone else will probably answer you for the trans mounts since I don't have them.....

the upper mount was easy, the lower though I had to pay the shop because the bolts were almost stripped.

Mounts are an easy mod... as long as you have air tools.

Not if your car is barely brand new when you do this mod

Seems like it'd be easier with a newer car. But that's just me I suppose.

LOTS of WD 40, just let it soak for a while and then use a breaker bar and you should be good

When I put the upper mount insert in, I had to replace the whole mount, it was shot. I have to get around to doing the lower, but from what I hear the RKSport is alittle shorter, just use 2 screwdrives once you take the bolts out, it seems really easy to swap out. Also, team forward motion has a write up for both.
