why... just why? it's shiny.. it's expensive.... the Ho manifold can be made exactly the same way and cheaper...

Really, If you don't want to spend the money on the bling venom manifold, then buy an ho mani and adapter from chris. But you also need an egr simulator and egr block-off.
If you go with the venom manifold it's a direct bolt on with the same t/b position as stock.
Also $799 is ridiculous for that manifold. I could sell it for hundreds less.

you also have to slot out a couple of the holes and do all that jazz but it's nowhere near 800 bucks

Just so you know venoms design is slightly flawed.... 2 things I had to do with it..... first the plenum where the throttle body fits sticks out too far and restricts the throttle from opening more than 40% or so. The solution is either take a dremel to it or bend the butterfly on the throttle which works as well. Problem number 2, one of the sensors I think its the tps or map not sure but its the one on the front will not function correctly because the manifold is metal so I had to get an extension to keep the sensor a bit further from the manifold. Other than that its pretty but expensive.

What about the rear?
Are they only designed to fit the EGR years?

The venom intake manifold fits all years of the LD9 twin cam engine, 96-02 it has the hole for the egr but also comes with a block off plate to close it off for 99+ models.

About 2 months ago Summit Racing had the Venom mainifolds for about $530.

That's still ridiculous considering the HO manifold is basically... better than the Venom manifold, and when polished and powdercoated, it looks sweet

LO

or VENOM...

If by spiffed you mean polished and powdercoated or painted?

none come like that, you have to pay a polisher or someone to do that for ya.

but the manifold is on 2.3 engines. Buick skylarks. Olds achievas etc etc. some pontiac grands.
