Before I follow through with this...
Can anyone tell me what the average MPG loss is for moving your AIT sensor? Thanks!!

Typically moving the IAT sensor only moves it further up stream to coller air. All this does is make the motor think it is getting cooler (ie, denser) air causing the PCM to dump more fuel into the motor, making it run rich. More fuel doesn't mean more power, infact you'll probably lose power, buy having too much fuel. Even then the O2 sensor would adjust the fuel trim down to compensate. Besides, our motors typically run slightly on the rich side to prevent detonation.
If you move the IAT, move it closer to the TB for a more accurate temp reading, but I doubt you would even notice any change.
moving the IAT is a waste.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
If you are talking about moving it to a different location on the intake may not make to much difference but if you move it from your intake to the front fender all it does is trick you computer to dump more fuel which just wastes fuel.

I raced once when I was 17. I won, I got pulled over, I paid a $276.84 ticket.
That is just one of 6,789,398 reasons why you shouldn't race.
I moved mine. But I didn't move it to a cold air location like everyone seems to do.
I left it hanging in the engine bay. Nice and warm! Leaned out that nasty factory-rich setting (no more black rear bumper). Got better fuel economy, and felt better too. Lean is where the power is
