Where could I find a cylindrical Cat?
Wednesday, December 07, 2005 7:56 PM
I recently purchased an electrical exhaust cutout for racing puproses but I ran into a problem. When I took it to an exhaust shop to be installed they couldn't quite fit the motorized cutout inside the exhuast area underneath with the existing cat and resonator on my exhaust.... so he took the cat and resonator out. (I didn't say that)

Anyway, I had told the shop owned before hand that I was planning on reworking the entire exhaust to make it a lot quieter and he showed me a flyer for an "Eastern Catalytic" converter that was cylindrical. Skimming over their site I wasn't able to find anything but does anyone know of any other places you could get one that's not big and flat like the average cat?

And while were on the subject of exhaust components, where could I get an O2 simulator cheaper than what RKSport sells.

So, Dynatec is the only company that currently has a cylindrical cat? There has to be more!
