I've honestly never heard anyone using DSM injectors on the 2.4. One thing that is semi-popular is using Ford Green Top Injectors on the 2.4 & ECOTEC motors. Do a search on them. Those are 440 CC Injectors and what I'm actually going to be using myself for my turbo project.

The DSM injectors work. Make sure you know which car you are pulling them off of. It's best to do 1g injectors. The 1g automatics are 390s and the 1g manuals are 450s

Wish I knew that in the past lol

Abe, do they work for the ECOTEC as well?

I don't see why they wouldn't. Now, as far as what overall type, I'm not sure whether the Eco injectors are saturated or peak and hold. When going from a saturated to peak and hold, you need the resistor box from the DSM injectors.

I'm running the 2nd Gen Manuals on my 93 W41 engine...... you just need to make some sort of 'sleave' for the injector to seal in the head. I used the rubber seals from inside the coil pack housing (of the 2.4..... where the coils go to the plastic housing)

and as for the EcoTec, yea, wrong resistance...... but like Spotabee said, the DSM uses a resistor pack to bump the resistance up to 12 ohms.

most of the time, the seller will include that resistor box with the injectors. from my understanding, the resistor box has to match the injectors. (you can't use one from another car)
