good or bad decision

ive been trying to sell my cavalier connection pulleys and no one wants them so im just gonna put them on unless somone reading this wants them. i heard that cavalier connestion pulley dont charge like the stock ones or rsm racing ones. so would it be a bad idea to put these pulleys on and get a 10 inch sub?

The sub isn't the part that matters, its the amp.

I don't know too much about the Cavalier Connection pulleys...are they the same size as your stock pulley or smaller? If they are smaller, than it's an underdrive pulley and charging would be slightly different but nothing to worry about. I have an underdrive pulley, had it for a long time and no problems with it. If it's the same size as your stock pulley, there will be no difference in charging.

If it is underdriven and he has a big amp there will be something to worry about.

^^ Your profile says you run a full boss system, thats why you don't have any problems. Your 1800 watts is maybe 300-400 watts.

I have had them on my 2200 for almost a little over a year now. I haven't had a single problem. Granted i do have a yellow top but when i First got them I was running 2 Infinity kappa 12's with a Hifonics BX1000 class D mono amp at 750 watts rms. I never had any charging prblems at all. Only thing that happened was the lights would dim at stop lights when i had it turned up. other than that i Had a 10in mtx 6000 on a pioneer gm102 amp like 125 rms bridged no problems after i sold the infintys and then I put an alpine 12 in type R with an alpine 301D mon amp after i sold the mtx no problems. Now i dont run anything lol

Don't be a baby and put them on you'll be A-OK...

Have fun finding a belt though.... lol

Let us know if you decide to put them on.

Jeff

Well I found a 4 rib belt that was 1.5 inches shorter or you can get a 6 rib belt and cut one rib off. I will look later on for you I just worked a 13 hr shift and I got work at 6 am so i'm going to bed.
