getting ready for summer - replace or rebuild?

I am putting together parts for my LN2 and I am at a crossroads. The engine in my car has about 190K on it and I plan on adding some minor bolt on mods, intake, exhaust, rocker conversion, etc, and am looking at using nitrous instead of a turbo because I only race on occasion. Anyway, I'm shopping around and it seems almost more expensive to rebuild the engine than it is to replace it with a reman'. If you were doing the same thing I am, what would you honestly do?

I honestly think if you like your motor and want to modify an LN2, keep it and rebuild it. If you don't like your LN2, upgrade to whatever motor you choose. I honestly think that it will cost about the same amount to do either or (maybe the swap will be a bit more depending on where you get it and/or who installs it for you).

I don't want to say what I would personally do cause I don't want to sound biased but take a hard look at what you want to do and maybe do some research and find what you really want to do.

Also, you might want to ask yourself if it's worth you spending that amount of money do modify a vehicle. If when you get final #s on both, you should be able to make up your mind if you want to go either route or to get a new car.

Good luck in your decision.
