I'm about to go look at a 2nd Gen RS that has a 3.1 V6. I don't know if it's a manual or automatic, but at this point I don't care because I'm tired of dealing with my '97 RS and all of it's f'ing problems. I already went into the 2G forum to see what I need to look for before I actually buy this car, and going on the idea that I probably WILL buy it if it's worth it, I would like to know what my options are for performance. I've been to the J-Body companies and checked out the parts they have, but I'd like to know from guys that actually have the 3.1, what works for them and what doesn't. I'm going to start simple. Bolt-ons like intake, exhaust, maybe rockers, a chip if it's worth it, that sort of thing.

You'll get flamed bad if you ask that kind of question on any of those sites though (similar to asking where you should start with a 2.4 here), so search around before asking anything.

id suggest doing a 3400 hybrid basically uses the 3400 top end heads and all to start off and other bolt ons and exhaust
