ok i installed my header and it had like a bypass tube or something comming off the flange and into the primary closest to the driver. then when i started my car there is a hole in the front of the engine by the intake manifold that is now putting out exhaust gasses to and its not good what should i do
It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.
You didn't hook up the egr I think.

2006 Ford Ranger
2004 Chevy Cavalier
you got a header for a egr car , and yours being a 01 doesnt have egr
what header did you get ?
if you got a pacesetter or dc sports , you can reuse your stock exhaust gakset and block the egr port on the exhaust side of the head
My friend got me one for my b-day off ebay and its called tsudo racing is there anyway to make a block for the front of the engine.
It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.
It shouldn't be coming out of the front at all if you reused your stock exhaust gasket.
I think the ones that come with those headers have a hold/provision for the egr.
Hence why you're getting the fumes.
Gotta use your factory gasket or get another from the auto shop.

It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.
Ok i got the header on and its a beauty i also noticed some more top end and a little smoother acceleration.
It wouldnt be any fun if it was easy.
