Buying Used Motor?
Sunday, December 25, 2005 3:07 PM
I was wondering where can I find a low miles 2.2L motor to put in my 1995 Cavalier, if needed. My motor knocks every now and then, so Iam wondering is a new motor needed or do I need to just rebuild? Cause I am wonting to go turbo, but I wont to make sure my engine is up to standards before I invest in more money into the motor.

Thanks

you can usually find one cheap on ebay. If your planning on boost, just buy a used motor and rebuild it, rather than pulling your motor and having a lot of down time, unless you have another car to drive.

It either knocks or it doesn't. Are you sure its what you think it is?

www.car-part.com is a good place to find salvage parts, or as stated, Ebay has rebuilt LN2s most of the time.

Junk Yards, JBO Classifieds, Ebay, car-parts.com...you SHOULD be able to find one at one of these.
