I got a 95 auto OBDII i am putting int eh cams from a ho, i need to swap the computer aswell, anyone know how to re-pin it to make my OBDII into an OBD1, a picture would really help,. car is coming out of shope in 2-3 days need to know before that,
also if i leave the OBDII hooked up what will happen ???
can i run it for a few days with no real probs ????
You can't run the Ho cams with an auto.
The idle is way too low and the cams are too wild for 600rpm. The car will always stall. The only way it "could" work would be the 2.3 Lo auto from 89-94 but they only have the 3spd and are made for the Lo.
The only onew you can use is the exhaust cam.

so i have to stay with the lo cams ?

that sucks terd well i guess i wll not need to know how to do the change then , i will just keep them for my other project,
what about the exhust mani worth swaping over ???
yes it's worth it. As long as it's the Ho exhaust manifold.

Yes you can, Jeremy from MI is running HO cams with his 2.4L Cavalier AUTO and has no issues of stalling out from what I know.......
Cams arent the issue
If you do the pcm swap, you will only have 2nd gear no matter what you do.
