Hey there guys and gals, I'm looking for a decent intake for my cavalier, I have bought one from ebay but to no prevail the damn thing doesn't fit...Don't really wanna shell out the $200 for an Injen.
I have heard of someone running a 92-95 civic intake does anyone know where I can buy an intake or anything about the civic CAI??
What do you men it doesn't fit, how doesn't it fit right?
You want to save some money? I have a '97 with the same engine as you. I'll tell you the same thing I said in another post about the same thing. I had an Injen intake, a short ram. I drove around for a bit with it installed, and there were some improvements over stock. But for sh*ts and grins, I took out the Injen intake, put the stock rubber tube back in, and used a piece of 3" exhaust pipe ($2.50) to put a K&N conical filter($35.00) on the end. I drove around with that for a while, and I gotta tell you, I sold the Injen intake.

you can get a cheap 90 degree bend one for our cars on ebay then get another 90 degree rubber bend from lowes and hook it up like this.
