I saw this floating around in this forum awhile back but I remember some guy that was able to do P&P on 2200 OHV heads for a reasonable price. If there is anyone that would be interested in doing this for me please post and let me know a full price on it. Also what kind of gains could I expect with a P&P, ( I am going to do cam later on down the road when I do the bottom end ).
lol, whats a reasonable price? personally i wouldnt just "give" your business to anyone, its so easy to @!#$ up ports and flow numbers its not even funny... Do yourself a favour, head down to your local machineshop and get a basic bowl blend/3angle valvejob and a gasket match done you'll be ahead of the game.... and as for power, the more cash you spend on the head the more you'll gain hp/tq wise. Power is all in the head work, there is only so much you can do with the bottom end so the head is where the big bills should be spent.

not sure what other people are doing but when i do P&P for customers, basic is around 650bux Canadian (prettymuch 3angle valvejob, gasket match and bowl blending) and can get up to 1500-2000 pretty damn quick.. but thats a custom port on a CnC machine mostly... big dollaz but big results..

napa auto parts can do it around here ...i dont know its like a chain thing that they can do it everywhere ...just call around
