I'm trying to figure out which cars came with the 2.3 HO that I can nab the intake manifold and TB from? I know the 95 Cavalier Z24 & Sunfire GT but I'm sure there's others. I did find a couple Grand Am's with 2.3 stamped on the IDI cover but I'm not sure if they are HO or not. The manifold looks the same but I'm still too much of a noob to know. Any help would be great.
the 95 z24 & GT were not HOs...they were LOs...however , both engines have the same throttle body whether its HO or not...but the intake your looking for came off of 89-94 grand am,achieva scx,beretta gtz,and old's calais...the 8th letter of the Vin will be an "A" and it will have "High Output" stamped on top of the engine.
the way I used to find my ho was to look for the plug in the back, then go home and math the part # for the ny jbody site for the ho swap
