I got mine through Summit although it was the painted one. I still got it with in 3 days and shipping was free. When shopping I usually look at the shipping costs if buying online. Because even though thier price is a little lower they usually make it up in the shipping.

first, GET THE CERAMIC, its worth it, the paint doesent last.

2nd, as others have said, GO TO THE GP FROM TURBO TECH. if you cant go there, email jim @ gravana tuning. hes had great prices on them before.

ive read nothing but good things about the pacesetters, the only difference between the RK one and the pace, is the design, one has gains in low-powerband, one in high. if im not mistaken, the pacesetter design is the lower powerband. someone else, please, correct me if im wrong.

I can't correct you in the power gains but I can in the paint part. The painted header comes with what they call a shipping paint. It is ment to be stripped or removed from the header and repainted with a high heat paint. There is a paper that comes with the header indicating such. Also the folks at Summit confirmed that before I purchased. So naturally if left on it would come off as it is not intended to be a final finish nor a high heat paint. I hope this helps.

AH! that explains a lot to me, yeah thanks nocturnal!! i presume ceramic coating...is ceramic coating, and not just a high-heat chrome paint?

i got a price for the painted one at 225$ +txs

$225 is kind of pricey. Compared to Summit. $160ish depending if you get 4-1 or 4-2-1.

Also I would also hope it would be ceramic coating and not a high temp chrome paint LoL.
