I've been reading up alot and slowly workin on my 2.3 L HO manifold. From what I have read the easiest thing to do with the EGR is use a block off plate and the only thing it does is throw a code ( don't really care about the code). My question is where can I get a block off plate. Thanx guys.
Make it yourself. I took a scrap piece of metal, marked off the holes, and then drilled it to fit. Using the stock gasket, I had no problems sealing the hole.
It cost me a half hour of time versus paying for a piece of metal made by somebody else.

Your check engine light will be on 24-7 as well as your fan running 24-7. Kidda sucks, i am going to make a custom bracket here soon so i can still have the EGR.
2nd Place is the first loser
dont waste your time with making one, there like 10 bucks tops at a GM dealership.

Also check out that post, when i get some spare time here soon, i will start making these to sell. Probably by the end of the month, the only thing that is holding me back is finding a place to buy that i can buy tube from for the the part that goes from the EGR to the manifold. But i think i may have found a place for that.
