deleting my o2 sensor

both my o2 sensors are bad and i have a freind that will delete them for me he says that the car will run like it would it the o2 sensors were perfectly fine is this true and if i delete them what kinda problems could come up if any and will i be able to sell the car down the road with them off the computor?

No, this isn't true. The only O2 sensor you can delete is the rear one, the computer needs the first one to regulate your A/F mixture.

From my understanding you have to have your first Os sensor. Car needs it to run correctly. I have header the 2 one can be deleted.

haha you need the first one for the a/f mixture, the second one is only to make sure the cat is working properly and can be deleted

BTW the 1st one is like $20 so why even go thru the trouble of deleting it??? the rear one is closer to $100 so thats your call

sorry just looked it up $25 for universal replacement and $41 for OE replacement.. still not worth $#%$ around with deleting sensors and prolly screwing up the car.. wanna delete the post cat o2 sensor more power to you, but IMO id just replace the manifold one
