thinkin bout switchin mufflers

i bought the rk sport cat-back system a few months ago. and am now thinkin bout ditchin the magnaflow muffler. but i am confused on what to get . becuz the r so many to choose from. u have borla boomer series, universal apexi n1 style mufflers, flowmaster,dynomax,ac autotechnic revolution ect... any recommendations on what too get. any thing would be good. i am jus gettin tired of this muffler.

I say you get the oval style magnaflow mufflers...the canister ones sound like the poo. By the way, the sound of your exhaust probably sounds raspy because there is no resonators on it.

IDK, have a 25" res on mine and still not particularly fond of the sound. i can't imagine how i would hate it without one though

thanks for the input fellas. i jus heard that borla boomer has a deeper sound then the magnaflow muffler. i jus wanna try something different? jus cause i can afford too. who knows may i jus need to install a highflow cat and a resonator!!!

yeah i thought bout thos too. i was lookin at them a couple weeks ago. but i might go with the borla boomer wailtail it has a 5" side round tip on it plus is oval so it will give a clean look then i dunno weither to go with magnaflow or thrush cherry bomb resonator

I've got a Flowtech 18" resonator with a oval Magnaflow muffler with a 4" tip. it's a little raspy when the car is cold, but once it warms up, it's got a nice and deep tone.
IMO, don't go with a 5" tip. way too ricer-ish. I think my 4" tip is too big.

how about an actual greddy muffler,but not one of the ebay ones. my frined has one on his car and it sounds great.




If it doesnt break then you didnt drive it hard enough!

I drive an automatic, I'll race you... 1 hand and 1 foot.
