PISTON RINGS

well we got my brothers engine out. he had second thoughts on going big on a turbo setup and he just wants to keep it simple. but since it is out already i was just wondering what is the best thing i can do to give it more life. it currently has 143K miles on it. i was just thinking of a new set of piston rings. my question is what size should i get ? who sells them(i checked autozone and nothing) and what else should i replace ?

just about anything you have money for. the piston itself, rods, even the crank.
if you get new pistons i think most come with new rings

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

I personally wouldn't replace anything untill you brother is fully sure he doesn't want to go boost or not. He could go different routes...if he really isn't sure, he could always get some Wiseco pistons that have the same compression ratio.

Other than that, he can get some stronger rods, crank...even do some valvetrain work if he wants to.
