Anyone know the stock exhaust size on a 1999 Z24??
why dont ya go underneath and measure?

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Why would I want to go throught the trouble of that when I can use this forum for what it was created for?...helping each other with questions about are cavs. Why do so many members on this site make something as simple as asking a question about the size of the stock exhaust piping so difficult? Just want some help guys and girls. If I can offer something to you in the form of knowledge it won't be a fight to get it out of me. Thanks for all who have helped!

I think its easiest to learn how a measuring tape works, but thats just me.

yes, let the boy learn. key word learn. if you would have read what shifted said "2 1/16 or 1 7/8ths, one or the two". so its either one or the other.
the next logical thought would be "Gee, which do i have? better go check." right?
i wasnt trying to be cocky in anyway, i just guess some people like to have some pride in modding cars (or whatever hobby) and learn on there own

Yes, I know how a measuring tape works, but with my right arm in a cast it is very difficult to jack my car up...work myself underneath it and then try to measure the diameter of the tubing. Why even join this site if I can't use it for what it's for? The time spent on creating smart a$$ answers could be used to just write the actual answer itself. I am starting to think the ones being so difficult are not J-body enthusiasts just haters. If you guys don't want to help don't login!
well, sorry to hear about your arm.
how bout you do this. when the arm heals, go under and measure. then post what you find out so you can help the next person who wants to know. then if they know and where the seach button is they can find out themselves. ok?

you have been here less then 1 month, and only just starting to figure out the search button and such. Yes we are PITA's. but if you have a stock muffler, no GT crap, your muffler tip is the same size as the exhaust piping.

It has nothing to do with pride. It has to do with me wanting some information so I can get the correct materials to get the job done! What difference does it make if I learn from doing it myself or getting my info here? And here we are again... still no concrete answer. Yes, I also know how to use the search button. Have been reading for some time now. Back to what I said before...was just hoping for a diffinative answer to a relativly easy question. This should have had one or two responses max. This is what I mean by "haters". Sorry to bother anyone!
does my sig look like im a hater?

No, just your responses to my simple question make me think differently. You may be the coolest guy in the world...just don't understand why this has turned into another stonewall by the members on this site who feel their pedastool's are to high to answer a minor question such as this.
One more time...so that someone might be able to discredit my thoughts on certain responses:

Sorry if I started an arguement! :p

Theres your answer RIGHT FREAKING THERE, first response in the thread even!
I do greatly appreciate your 2 answers, but I still do not know which one...do you? I need an exact answer. Just thought this would be easy. Again, thank you. You seem to be the only one who has remotley answered what I have asked. It just seems to be the theme around here to have to go through this to get info. Shouldn't be this hard.
look in the FAQ i'm almost positive EVENT put it in there, for a reason also...
that will answer almost all your questions

and I do believe most Z's had 2 1/16 could be wrong though.
