3" downpipe on gm charged car, good or bad?
Saturday, March 11, 2006 12:20 PM
hey guys my engine finally came back this morning and i wanna redo my 2.25" exhaust with a 3" downpipe (from pacesetter collector to the cat) and then put 2.5" from the cat back. Would the 3" downpipe be good or would it be pointless and i should just use 2.5" header back? thanks ill be running 2.6" pulley with cams and nitrous

Just use 2.5" from the header back, since its only gonna flow as good as the 2.5" anyway.

1. 2.5 headers-back is enough
2. 3" to 2.5" is useless. the other way around though would make better flow.
