That should work. The more chips you add, the colder the engine will think the air is and the more fuel it will add. With 10 of them in a row, the ECU will think the temperature is near absolute zero and will dump your entire tank of fuel in all at once. You will make well over 700 hp but only for 1 second because there will be no gas left to sustain the power.

That's a SICK mod! I just picked up a kit off of eBay to do something similar to that...
It came with 100 resistors that you have to solder in series, and a 4-gauge stranded, low-resitance copper "horsepower" cable. It gets wired in between the battery's positive terminal and the starter. They said it was guaranteed to throw out up to 150 amps at the crank!
I can't WAIT to get it installed. Here is a pic of the parts:

JET performance actually makes a chip, I called them up to send me the dyno sheet. I cant remember the "gains" ... who knows if it will actually work, I guess there is only one way to find out.

Don't ask them for the gains or dyno sheets. They'll tell you whatever they think you want to hear. Ask them WHAT IT DOES. If they can't give specifics, then they're just like everyone else.
Weasel, I love your site and hate resistor scams...
...and yet... there is a device sold for the Focus and Escort ZX2 that switches a resistor on and off. Basically, you leave it off unless you're racing. And they've dynoed that to actually give about 5-7 ponies at the wheels. The switch means it can be turned off again for regular driving.
So for the most part, they're crap, but on certain engines at certain times under certain conditions...
I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.
What about like the Venom 400 and the Jet? I cannot run either of these but just curious as your input on those since you said there is no true chip for the j-body?

You all miss the point. Everyone that ask about a chip don't know anything about their car. You need to learn how an Ecm work with your engine.
The Jet and Venom 400 POS are just scams. Their "module" will fool the computer and it will send more fuel in. More fuel DOES NOT GIVE MORE POWER. A stock car run rich from factory for safety reason. If you had more fuel, you don't get more power. It's the other way around. Leaner is what you want. Leaner mean hotter combustion witch mean more energy witch give more power. There's a limit tough, too lean and it's goodbye engine. Same for the power, you can lean the ratio and get more Hp but only to a certain point.
The real way to gain something is spend money on fuel injectors controller and aftermarket ignition. Get on a dyno and start tuning.
No module works on the J. Company don't car abut people, they care about money so they tell you what you want to hear.
Before doing any modification on a car, you should know what you want really and know your car and how it works. And I don't mean putting the key in the ignition and starting the car. You have to learn how electronics work on your car before doing anything. In all honesty, only about 15% of the J community know how an Ecm work and what to do with it to gain power.
A chip was used on the OBDI ecm and they were not even good unless they really change the timming maps witch mean premium gas. Even the real OBDI chip will give around 2-3hp for a few hundred $ so it is useless even on OBDI car. There's some exception like the 2.3. You chip the ecm when you swap the cams.

Who dynoed it? The company that makes them? The companies that make them can tell you they dynoed it and got 50 hp. That doesn't make it true.
I list the technical reasons not to do it on my website. You don't want to run rich. When you run at WOT you run rich anyway.
Also... note that in many cases the ECU will notice you running a bit rich and compensate for it, making the resistor have no effect at all.

that's the default configuration for text in an html page... unless you're in a table with a specified width, the text will always follow the width of the window
