It says it's a 4-1 header, but it looks like a 4-2-1. Plus it's for an '01 and up I like it.

search. got one, its great. just use loctite on the secondary flange bolts or you're gonna @!#$ header bolts and wreck gaskets like no tomorrow.
hows the clearance underneath?
Everyone on the org who has one seems to like them. I was told that like the pacesetter it comes with a paper gasket, so best would be to replace with a oem or fel-pro gasket.
It is apparently really similar to the OBX header. Some say it's rebadged, others say there are tiny differences, but all in all, they sound decent. I'm quite interested in one too. I might have to try it too.
Its a 4-2-1 header which useualy helps mid range and its a copy off the RK Sport header
Not a fan of the upward bend as its been known to cause a problem with strut tower braces but other then that it looks good. But as Owen said just make sure you lock tite the middle bolts or your gonna hate life.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
I've been keeping my eye on these too... trying to decide if I want to risk it or go with the pacesetter.
Anyone have pics?
Any problems with it so far other than what's mentioned above?
How does it sound?
ok just wondering if it will bolt to the stock exaust system because for right nowi dont have the money to replace the whole exaust? but i like the way it looks and the price is nice.
oh and sorry about the back to back post but my friend installed a header on his elanrta and his check engine light would come on all the time. just wondering if anyone had a problems with the install of a header or is it just a nice bolt on with no problems?
Im going to have my weapon R stainless header for sale soon. If you want it here soon make me an offer and ill sell it (presale). lol

This will replace your stock exhaust manifold... not the piping.
You should not have a check engine light from replacing your header. If you do, then there is a problem with the O2 sensor.

Thats a 4-2-1 not a 4-1 like it says in the ad. Its same as RKSport/Weapon R eco header. I had the weapon r, wasn't a fan of it, its nothign special, finish does't hold up worth @!#$, it fits but fitment is nothign to brag about, getting the header in is thebiggest problem, and liek said above gasket problems, if that can be fixed with some loctite awsome. I'm also selling a used wepaon R $75+ shipping takes it, neds bolts, comes with gaskets that need to be replaced (old gaskets included so you can match them up with new ones) and needs to be welded where it meets the rest of the exhaust, no clamps.
Personally I'd say go with the pacesetter
Bring the thread back from the dead...
What kind of loctite did you use (which colour)?
And also those who have it, any noticeable performance gains? What about the change in exhaust note? I love how my exhaust sounds now... I don't want to ruin it
Loctite "red" = high strength, need to heat to take back off
Loctite "blue" (what I used) = medium strength, will come back off with a wrench
Thanks S S... any answers to the other questions?
