Hey so here the sitch guys recently bought a 2001 Z24 and I am wanting to get it running pretty quick only problem is before this car I owned a 93 Suburban and I know how to work those things but I have never modded anything before so I am a newbie, Anyways I am willin to put money into this however i am not a big fan of buyin something mediocre so if I spend money on the car I'll save and spend as much as needed to get the best product....but I DONT HAVE A CLUE OF WHATS GOOD AND NOT so if you all could help me out kinda starting from where you all have in your experience that be great thanks

Start with Minor Mods and build yourself up. Get yourself a good intake, full exhuast system, port and polished heads, secret cam swap.

Nitrous is just as safe as a turbo or Sc setup. The problem is not the product, it's the stupid people using it.

Well, what are you looking for? What kind of mods? Performance, suspension, visual, ect?
If performance: How fast do you want to go? Are you thinking about a turbo, supercharger, nitrous, all motor, bolt-ons?
suspension: Are you planning on racing or daily driver? Rally, auto-x, drag, ect? How low do you want your car? Coil-overs, bags, springs/struts?
visual: Urethane, carbon fiber, or fiberglass? Pretty much do what ever you think looks good.
Also fill in your profile so when know some more info about your car : IE manual or auto, ect.
You have a 2001 Z24. Save your money and buy a 2.4L Twin Cam GM Supercharger from: www.paceperformance.com , www.gmpartsdirect.com, or the classifieds of this site. You can have it installed at a dealer and they reflash your computer specifically for the charger. It will give you a very significant "boost" in power and is a solid, reliable, and permanent modification that is meant specifically for your car.
/\ that depends on how fast he wants...the supercharger will make it quicker.....but its not all the efficient on a 4cyl as much as a turbo would be
