Just wondering what CAI are you guys using with the HO mani? I plan on tilting my battery at an angle up by the master cylinder and having the intake coming straight out of the TB into the fender well.
If anybody has this same setup, is your intake piping custom? Any pics would be great.
Thanks.

I'll be doing the exact same thing as soon as I get my manifold powdercoated (moving battery and going straight into fender), I'll post pics once its all done
Here is my intake
it's a 2.3 rubber elbow. the elbow has a nice little hole that the IAT can fit into.
And at the end of that I have a K&N Filter.
that's it.
thats not a bad setup. but it is also sucking hot air. still good but not the best

Show me how that air gets "hot" when the car is actually moving and I'll give ya $20. Maybe just a few degrees at the most difference from OAT. Difference is negligible.
strange how it would be hot air, seeing as the only heat source is the radiator. my CAI is almost the same but lower, on top of the frame rail.
I removed the washer bottle and ran a S-yube under the battery into the fender.

I wouldnt tilt the battery. Just move it and try to keep it flat.

It'll still be flat, it will just be at an angle right in front of the master cylinder.. Some guys have done it on here.

i just took a ebay WAI and cut it at the bend and rotated the pipe on the 90 degree elbow the filter sits right in front of the master cylinder, clears the throttle cable too.
