how do you go about getting pipes bent for a custom catback for our J's? is there like a certain blueprint you need that tells where every bend is and what angle and everything or do shops just know how to do it??? this might be a stupid question so im sorry.
go to a shop and they will do it for you. They just cut off you exhaust and measure and copy to fit. Test fit to see if the bends are ok then weld up wehn done.

Some tire shops do it.
Muffler shops should be able to do it unless they're just "welders" and not really exhaust guys. sometimes they'll do that.
well let's see.. for my exhaust... 150 for piping and welding. I purchased the cat separately so about 200 bucks?
are you serious!? thats cheap! ok so i would pay the 150 for the pipes and then i have a ractive muffler currently so i could add that on and have them weld up the piping and hangers.....would i NEED to buy anything else (ie. those triangular shaped pieces that hold the exhaust pieces together)? thanks INARI.

any decent muffler shop. Price differ from place to place. I installed my header they the shop did a custom down pipe high flow cat ,resonator, and muffler for $90 Others have paid as much as $200 for that same work.
Plus a decent exhaust shop should have all the hangers etc... needed you should only need to bring you muffler, resonator and Cat.

usually they use thhe stock exhaust as a template. get mandrel 2.25 unless you boosting that sh!t
Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.
if you are not doing mandrel bent 2.5" i think is personally good if you are doing crush bent pipe.
