cuttin brake booster for 2.3 HO man swap

Ok I won't get into how I ended up ripping the whole pipe out but I did so all thats left is the rubber hose part. What I wanted to know is if it's ok to just take all the hose off and just have a completely new soft hose from the start all the way to where it hooks up on the manifold.

Yes, so long as you get some fairly rigid hose. No $0.01 per foot Menards special.

Some people on here have used some sturdy rubber hose in place of that metal booster.

Yeah, I used some braided heater hose from a hardware store, and it seems to work just fine.

ya I just bought some heater hose. It's stiffer than the original rubber hose that was on the car.
