When swapping the HO's TB on our cars, do you have to use the HO's IAC or can you use your stock one? Reason I ask is I used my stock one when I installed my HO TB and now my car is having idle problems, but only after I rev it up. It idled fine when I started it up and let it warm up, even a few revs. But after I put it in gear to drive it it shutter, reved up all funny, and died! Could this be because of the IAC, or something else. When I rev it up it does fine, but if im off the gas it does as described. Thanx n advance!
Failure is not failure if you learn from it
2.3 sensors with 2.3 TB, 2.4 sensors with 2.4 TB.

So u think the IAC would be causing the erratic RPM's. I figured it would work with my stock one since the bolt pattern is the same, but I guess the spring tension in the valves are different between the two. Correct?

well, i have used my 2.4 IAC sensor on the 2.3 TB, yes it bolts on but no i doesnt do its job. your erratic RPMS may be caused IAC sensor so change your IAC sensor to a 2.3 one. I had the same problem but i fixed it with a 2.3 IAC sensor..
