I have it on my 04 Eco. I got the polished one from Turbo Tech (LINK). I feel like it made a great difference to the car. It definetly added a great sound and makes you feel like you are flying when accelerating. It is definetly worth the money, and it was a great first mod for me. Easy to install, great performance gain, good looks, and good fitment. Mines a little dirty, but here ya go...

Gotta do this...

An intake is good, but it won't make a huge difference to our cars. Especially if that is the only thing you have on the car. If you have a stock exhaust, you probabaly won't feel anything. You'll need an exhaust to actually complete the intake. Here is a test...chew the end of a straw so it is flattened, blow from the end that isn't, see how much harder it is....there you go.

I've learned, intakes aren't really worth the 200 bucks you spend on them. One can make one from scratch for fractions less. You'll add a sound, WOW. But it definitely won't make you feel like you're flying when accelerating.

I have had two Cavis with ecos with this intake on them. It made them both faster, no question. The car is not as pokey as before. If you have your own opinion about them thats cool, but all I am saying is that it definetly helped and is worth the money from my standpoint.

How the hell can you even drive on your own??? You just turned 16!

Look, my opinion on this is far greater than yours. I'm not saying you're wrong, but once you're on here everyday for the past 2 years, you see what people say. Start searching and you'll see that many people say that an intake is an intake, just like a strut bar is a strut bar. You're paying for the name. Do you honestly think it costs them 200 bucks to make a flippin intake? Tons of markup on it. Trust me, do your searching.

I won't lie, it will help, but unless you can really feel your car like the pro's, most of us Joe's won't notice @!#$.

I actually get my lisence tomorrow, so I am pretty happy. I agree with you though. For the price, the intake is probably not worth it; you could make your own for much cheaper. However, he asked what I thought about the K&N one, so I told him. I see what you are saying, and I don't want to start a fight or anything so I am just saying I did notice it and I will talk to ya later

No fight, just conflicting points of views.

Congrats on your license, be safe, drive smart. You're not invisible!!

Thanks man, I had never seen your car before, but I just looked at your cardomain and it looks hot. You should put some more pics up. Thanks for the advice, now I am gonna try to make it to more j-body events. Later

First I need money. I want to put a 5 speed in and get some 17's. It's all about the $$$. I'm lucky, 19 and still have my parents help me with everything that costs money.

And I've never been to a J event in my life. But I've been all over for swimming meets. God I love swimming.

Yea, my parents usually help me out a little too with they money. I really need to get a job because I want the money, but I just don't want to work. I went to the GMSC bash last year (with my mom lol) and it was fun. When I get my lisence, I think I will get a little more work done on the car just because I can get what I need and have more fun with it without having to depend so much on my parents.

I got mine off ebay for 175 shipped. I don't know if it made any difference in acceleration, but the sound of it is entertaining to me. Check my profile and my cardomain page for pics.
