*****PROABABLY NOT******
when i take the abs and brake booster do i need the brake lines as well and if so how much of them?
******YOU DONT NEED THE BRAKE BOOSTER, JUST GET THE ABS UNIT. YOU CAN BEND YOUR OLD LINES TO THE NEW ABSUNIT, AND BE SURE TO SCREW THEM IT IN THE SAME PLACES(I.E. FROTN WHEEL GOES INTO THE FRONT WHEEL.....ECT).
IF YOU DONT WANT TO BEND THE LINES TO FIT YOU WILL NEED THE LINES.ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK OF THE CAR STRAIGHT TO THE CALIPERS/ DRUMS
The fuel lines..do i need just the flexy part or do i need them all the way to the tank? **********YOU CAN LEAVE THE STOCK LINES IN THE CAR, YOU JUST NEED THE ADAPTERS THAT GO FROM THE RAIL TO THE FUEL LINES. YOU WILL NEED TO SNAG THE LIEN THAT GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK OF THE CAR FOR THE EVAP.(UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE IT, I THINK SOME 99'S DID SOME DIDNT)**********
can i keep my stock rack..and just change the power steering lines?
*****YES YOU CAN KEEP YOUR STOCK RACK, BUT YOU WILL NEED THE NEW P/S PUMP AND LINES.THEY WILL BOLT INTO YOUR EXISTING RACK.***********
is my clutch master and slave line compatable with the getrag?...
********IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A GETRAG IN YOUR CAR THEN IT WILL BE COMPATIBLE. iF NOT YOU WILL NEED A NEW CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER, AND A NEW THROWOUT BEARING********
*************Yea i spell liek wrong get over it*****************

Airbags are definitely NOT compatible. You will need 03 bags to make it work, including the module under the passenger seat.
If the donor car is 03+, make sure it has ABS... otherwise you lose the ABS. Unless you don't care... then you only need to install the tiny non-abs brake line block.
95-99 5-speed cars came with the Isuzu trans... so the mounts and clutch/master cylinder, shifter, etc is all different when you swap to the Getrag (F23) trans.

Actualy the airbags will work, but you have to change a connector. The passenger side bay I believe hooks up the same, it is the drivers side that needs the connector changed.
As for the fuel lines, well they moved the evap system to the rear of the car so as mentioned there is a line that runs all the way back. The way the evap hooks to the tank is different as well, as is the fuel filter hook up(better). To make everything work like factory and easy you are better off swaping all lines and fuel tank. You can do it with your stock lines and tank, but it will be a pain. If you are getting a wrecked car then everything will be there. If not well We have some parts needed for the swap, let us know.

My 99 airbags won't work with a 2000 module.
Hmmm..does it matter if the harness i have has abs and if i dont have a abs harness can i make one or shoudl i just use the non abs control unit? I honestly dont care abotu abs at all.i kinda hate it...phil

Sorry I meant that the hook up to the wiring harness not the module behind the steering wheel. The hook up in the main dash harness is different.

If your car had ABS from the factory... then the convenience centre or body control module is going to look for the ABS module. If it's not there, the ABS light will stay on, and possibly others (service engine soon, TC off, etc).
Well john i have abs but the harness i goit doesnt..cant really decide if i want abs or not cause i kinda hate it and its just a summeer car now.i guess id save wight and stuff..as for ny car its getting a full body harness swap so it will think its a 2003 sunfire..not a 99..phil
