I was reading the install on the throttle body and am not sure on the IAC sensor. I have the 2.3L throttle body that I am going to be using. Do I keep the plug thats already on the 2.3L TB or do I take the plug for the sensor of the 2.4L throttle body and put it onto the 2.3L TB?
one other thing I read about drilling a hole for the 2.3L Tb to fit is this true? Any other modifications that need to be done to the TB to make it fit and work properly?
2.3 TB use 2.3 sensors, 2.4 use 2.4 sensors. (i just answered this question like 2 weeks ago for someone else)

ya I get that but the part I don't get is that is the IAC sensor thats already on the car thats gotta plug into the 2.3L TB gonna fit?
the plug fit into the 2.3 TB's IAC Sensor just fine.
you just might have to add some wire depending on what year your TB is. Mine is a 1990 GA TB and I had to lenghten the wires cause the IAC plug is facing the opposite direction from the 2.4l.
hey i found this post in a search. my car is idleing funny and ppl told me to check my IAC sensor or throttle position sensor. what exactly does IAC stand for? im tryin to find the part on autozone.com...
