After having the HO manifold on my car for a week with no problems I'm getting some weird idle problems. When I first start the car it idles at about 900rpm and it stays just about there when I am driving and come to a stop. However, when I put the car into park after driving for a while I noticed that the rpms shoot up to 1200. I also notice that when I am at a stop it will fluctuate a little from 800 to 1000rpm. Not sure what the problem is but I know that is too high for an automatic. It find this strange because just last week the car was running fine with a steady 600rpm idle when warm. Any thoughts?

me and kandyman are having the same problems, there is another thread discussing it. Keep an eye on the thread and see if someone comes up with an answer.
Maybe a vacuum tube came loose.
I think I found a fix, well at least temporarily but I haven't seen the problem come back yet. You have to reset the IAC by turning the car on and then off and then on and so on a few times for it to reset. Back to 600-700rpm idle again.

is there an actual proper way to reset it or you just turn it on and off, on and off?
I know someone on here posted how to do it but I can't find the thread. Just turned on and off three times and that seemed to work. Haven't driven the car much since then though so not sure if its a full proof fix.

you have to turn the swith to the on position like 6 or so times.
When the car idles high like that, try bliping the throttle really quick, and see if it comes down.

Turn key on (dont start the car thought) 30 sec
off 30 sec
on 30 sec
off 30 sec
on 30 then full ignition.
That's how I did mine.
