I was going through neons.org looking for a new set of rods for my wife's spare engine (going to be a Turbo SOHC) and found this website -
http://www.racingworks.com/eagle-billet-h-beam-connecting-rods.htm
These are the cheapest prices I've found on Eagle Rods for Neons or Cavs/Sunfires. On neons.org, the owner of racingworks said there would be free shipping if you mention "neons.org" in the special instructions at checkout. That could just be for Neon rods, but either way, this price is much cheaper than CarCustoms and $20 cheaper than TurboTech.
We are 319.99 free shipping, we did a price quote and they are a little over $322 after shipping as insurance. We also carry these in stock and can ship out within 24 hours.

The most machining i have heard, is honing the whrist pin bushing. I dont know what else you would need to machine...
This is a common practice as you dont want Eagle making the bushing to large, better to be small and open the hole up a bit to make a perfect fit.

I agree. I was just throwing an option out there for someone who wanted to save a couple bucks.
