'05 ECOTEC Throttle bodies

Are 2005 j-body ecotec throttle bodies drive-by-wire or cable actuated?

If cable, they are no different than other years correct?

And, an RSM TB would work?

Thanks

They are cable driven.

If the RSM throttle body is for the Eco, then yes, but there are differences between other motors of different years.

The Ecotec engine in the Cobalts and other delta platforms are drive by wire.

You are better off getting the Revco throttle body off ebay, it's much cheaper than the rsm one and does the same thing. I've got it and the seller is awesome.

All the 03 - 05 J-body ecos have the same throttle body. Different engine, different throttle body
