I'm not running that pulley, but my 2001 has had a underdrive pulley on it from the second day I owned it. I'm at 75k no issues. My 97 Z24 had one most of it's life no issue's. The LD9 is internally balanced. It has been rumored for years that a underdrive pulley will harm the motor, but no proof has been shown to support it. Put it on. You will more than likely hurt your motor by running it low on oil, or running juice or something of that nature.

Have yet to see a underdrive pulley cause harm to an engine....... the only down side I've seen is the colar on the pulley is aluminum, and after awhile the front seal wears a groove into the pulley...... but still hasnt leaked

Thanks.am glad to hear that from people that has the same car that i do and not a guy with a honda or any import ETC nothing against them ,just makes me feel better...
BUT do u guys saw a good difference on the performance or not really ?
When I had my 98 2.4, I had it for a couple years no problems what so ever. Then I sold it, and to this day the guy has no engine problems.
Well,
The gain is more of a 'regain' of HPs that were being robbed from the heavy factory crank.
Basically with the lightened pulley , when you press the gas pedal, you'll accelerate up in rpms a lot faster/easier.
I've had it no problems, now i lave lightened factory sized (I"m an auto as well), same diff.
Once I get my engine work done I'll go back to it for sure.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Most of the talk about an underdrive pulley causing hp loss or engine damage is because you're removing the harmonic balance which is meant to reduce vibrations in the crank.... In some poorly balanced engines, removal of the stock damper pulley can result in accelerated main bearing wear. While I can't recall having ever seen or heard of this happening in a J, that doesn't mean its not a possibility, but if most people have no problems then more than likely you'll be fine.
if you're really nervous about it, get a oil sample kit from blackstone labs. take an oil sample at your next oil change, and send it to them for analysis. Then install the pulley and for the next few oil changes send a sample each time and see if they find any additional bearing material in the oil... if there's no significant change after a few oil changes, then you can rest pretty confident that the pulley isn't hurting anything.

this should cause no damage the pullie you take off has no rubber or anything to reduce vibes in the first place so goin to a solid (stock is solid too, no rubber that other cars may have i.e. eagle talon) underdrive pullie wont change.. i say shouldnt change a thing
Thanks guys i really feel now that i should just put it on. and just hope everything goes ok... Now if i want to have a Pro install it for me What should be a fair Price on that...
