can someone provide a list of everything possible to decrease rotational mass on the LD9. maybe the 2.2 if you're bored also.
i mean internals... lighten crank... pulleys, rods, pistons.. etc.
balance shafts, cams (can be gun-drilled), pullies, cam gears.
Also, you said rotational, but then you listed pistons, so I'll add valves, retainers, and piston pins.

Those would be the reciprocating assemblies.
im not really sure on what the balance shafts do. how would you lighten them, just mill them smaller? also, what is gun drilling?
You don't lighten your balance shafts, you remove them....but everything else in the motor should be balanced then.
JBodyPerformance sells a balance shaft elimination kit, but I am not sure if anyone ever tried it, and also some people do not feel quite right about the company as a whole.
