I just recently put the bomz under drive pulley. I believe the shop i took it to did not put on the metal sleeve, now I have oil being slung all around my motor. What do you think and what type and degree of damage has been done?

anyways theres no info in your profile so I don't know what engine you have. But I will tell you on an ecotec if its not all the way on it will leak ALOT of oil out the fornt seal. Go under the car and take a look at the pulley, the inner ridge of the pulley should only be about 1/8" clearance from the side of the block, it should be almost touching. If its not that close tighten the one bolt that goes through the pulley so seat it down all the way. As for damage, I dought there is any as long as you didn't run it out of oil.
What is this metal sleeve they didn't put on? I personally haevn't seen a pulley that has a metal sleeve that needs to be installed with it.
