Stock cat with cat back exhaust
Saturday, June 03, 2006 9:06 PM
Will I be okay by using my stock cat with my new cat back exhaust sytem? I am just wondering how much more I will benefit by using a high flow cat with it. Any advice will help. Thanks.

If you had your registry filled out then i'd be able to see what year your car is and get a beter idea on how old you car is. Yea, it prob needs to just be changed, i have a 97 gt and i've found pieces all over the place, half was in the muffler, the other half in the cat still clogged like hell.
Just get a high flow if you just plan on staying N/A

you can leave the stock cat, it wont be a problem. the exhaust wont be as free flowing as it would be with the high flow cat. also, you wont see the best gains until you have the header, high flow cat and catcack system all installed.
