Ok here's the deal guys. I just recently hooked up my D-Pic gauge and was playing around with my numbers. I just ran my 0-60 and tested the HP setting as well. My 0-60 was at 8.2 which sounds about right. Now my HP reading sounds kinda high though at 187 hp. I'm pretty sure I ran the test the correct way, but here is my list of mods engine wise as the suspension mods shouldn't increase anything except lowering drag a bit.
-AEM Short Ram Air intake
-Unorthdox Racing Underdrive crank pulley
-Optima Yellowtop battery
-Upper Polyurathane engine mount
-Lower Polyurathane engine mount
-Recently changed over to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic
- Also removed majority of back paneling, seating, and trunk cover (although this wouldn't add to much weight loss)
What are your opinions? Too high? Right (I love this one

) or could the gauge be off a bit? Thanks!

Go to the setting with the F-B Force ... i can never break a .42 , i love trying though , then slamming on the brakes and shooting it so high.
Haha.
Haha I definately will. By the way Jersey, your set up is what got me interested in the Cobalt gauges.

yeah that is way high on hp
Yeah thats what I thought...I was figuring around 165-maybe 170ish. I'm going to have to recheck the settings for it. What would be your estimate of a correct value with those mods, 97cavie?

with those mods, 187 hp is definetly high, I'd say you should be running at about 160-165
is this some kinda g-tech or something, those arent really that accurate, and unless you weigh your car daily its hard to get them any better

. Thats awesome , i didnt think anyone ever paid attention to me and my car .
I figured out what went wrong on it. when I ran the first run, I didn't realize that the gauge took its reading from your first 0-redline, and then calculated it. It came out at 167 this time. Last time I ran it to redline and then another 4ooo rpms that that was why the hp went higher. Thanks!
Also Jersey, what power source did you run your gauges to? I put a toggle switch into my cigarette lighter with a 30 amp fuse. I still need to wire the illumination to my oil pressure, a/f, and voltmeter, but other than that everything is hooked up right.
