ok the ? is as stated is this to good to be true
would theres pistons hold up under 10-15psi of boost
pistons

Probably a typo or something. They'll get it right before they charge your card though.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.
5K PB: 24:50
10K PB: 54:26
That's the right price.
They are cheap. Any pistons can hold X amount of boost. It's detonation and lean condition that burns pistons.

they are not cast they are Hypereutectic basic leavel 2 type if you build amotor stage one stock/cast pistons then thier are Hypereutectic slightly stronger takes more of a beating and lastly for horsepower junkies ultimat reliabilitie forged " also helps becuase of the way they are made htey lessen pre detonation.
you really want forged pistons
with those pistons , which are about equal to stock , if you dont have enough ring gap under boost , youll end up cracking a piston with a little detonation

actually theres one step above it all, billet pistons... beyond expensive though
as for the pistons, yes they are stronger than stock, yes they can hold 10-15psi reliably but only IF you get a good tune. get detonation and your @!#$! imo if your going this far and plan 10-15psi, make sure you leave room for "improvment" because if your like most people, once you sit at that 15psi long enough you'll get bored and want more...
i say spend the extra cash and go forged.

don't trash on the hyperpuke pistons to much. I have beat the balls off some hyperpuke motors and they have taken it.
if you are going to go n/a with little to no no2 I would say go hyperpuke becouse they are lighter and wil allow your motor to rev up faster. but for boost or heavy no2 forged is a safer choice
think of it this way. forged or hyper can be made to about the same strength. however what makes a hyper piston a hyper piston is the silicon/aluminum alloy. it is strong but is characteristically brittle. which will cause it to break before it bends basically.
the difference being under detonation type stress when a hyper piston gets to its limit it will crack, blow a jiant hole, or just disintagrate. however forged, which WILL bend before it breaks will take a couple more detonations before it finally says fu and promptly exits the motor via oil pan
however with all that said still don't underestimate a well tuned motor with hyperpuke pistons

when you beat someone in a civic people wine and make excuses
when you beat someone in a cavalier they pull over and check under thier hoods
yea I was reading up on them while I was at work yesterday I found exactly what your saying they would be great for a N/A setup but with boost in the future I'm just saving up for the forged cuz to be honest I realy don't want to have to tear an engine down and rebuild a head do to a pistion blowing up

I wouldn't put a $16 piston in my engine if someoneelse paid me to
^ what's the problem with a 16$ pistons???? It's STOCK REPLAcEMENT. The pistons you have/had in your stock eco were not worth more than 20$ either. Gm make you pay 100$ per pistons for cast but it doesn't mean they are worth it.
You can get pistons for a 350 for cheaper than that. Mass production is why it's cheap.

my point is if your going through all the time and effort re actually replace your pistons or pay someone else to do it theres no way I'd be replacing them with $16 dollar pistons
even better I'll BUY you a set of the $16 pistons and you take pics and post up the whole install then tell me if it was worth it
Yes they were worth it. I had a set for the quad. They went trough 10psi with the T3/T04E with no addionnal fuel and they didn't melt.
So yeah, it was worth the small price I paid. That's why I can vouch for those pistons.

I just might have to agree with you on that
not to completely weigh the parts by price but I wouldn't want to biuld a whole motor and take the risk of saying "oops, blew my motor should of used something better"

well with the reading on it they are good if used in the correct application mild performance on n/a engines but with boost its a risk not worth taking
