We all know Water/alky injection will lower detonation by slowing down the speed the gas burn.

BUT, I was wondering if oil would do the same thing?

Not regular oil but 2 stroke oil. Like Mixed gas.

Oil burn slower than gas. So if you mix it, let say 100:1, wouldn't it do the same job as the alky injection?

I know it's goodbye cat but my race car doesn't have one. 02 sensor would take a beating but that can be taken out to run with the preset data. They are cheap for the quad anyway. So waht do you think?

I don't like Alky injection cause if the tank run dry, you say hello to problem.
