Valve cover spacer for the 2200?
Monday, June 26, 2006 8:23 PM
I did a quick search and came up empty, so does anyone know of a valve cover spacer for the 2200 motor? I'm going to switch to a set of roller rockers and i need about 1/2" of extra clearance. If I were to have something like this made, what sort of material should I get it made outta?

Thanks

Trevor

The 2200 already has roller rockers, they are like 1.55 or something, maybe even already 1.6, but I know there are a set of 1.6's that go in without spacing out the valve cover.

Just do the slight modification to the inner part of the valve cover as per howells instructions.

Read this.

If that doesn't do it, then look for shorter poly-locks.

yea, it's the poly locks that are in the way. The factory rockers are 1.54 or 1.56, and i've got some 1.65's. I don't think that hollowing out that valve cover is gunna give me enough tho...
