Can anyone tell me the HP potentials on the 2200 motor? I'd like to hear it in terms of HP not something like @!#$ty or crap.
Oh and Multi accounts will get you banned.
Like as much Nawz as you can fit in your car, two of the big ones.

Nope.
And for G russ, a stock bottom end is stock crankshaft, bearings, rods, pistons and the such

Then why did you answer your own question in another thread?
I didn't I was referring to why Ians sunfire ran crappy timeslips off the parts he had in his sunfire
Lee (Boosted Cavi) runs about 8 to 10psi on a stock bottum. THAT is the max pretty much on the 2200.

There is a VERY LARGE thread titled something to the effect OHV power record... try a SEARCH or hit "older topics" one or two times and you'll find it.
OHV guys typically aren't like the eco and 2.4 guys, they're a slower to flame you when you ask for help, but no one's going to spoon feed you.

I'm at about 8 psi on stock engine. Since the car and engine are eventually going to be replaced, I was just sitting and thinking today about trying for a little more boost.
Of course, that would mean buying 89 octane fuel instead of 87, which will cut into the wife's coffee money, which would cut into my having a good day. But it's probably going to be worth it.

It's nice that the "feed me" people like to jump on the quad / eco bandwagons. Signal to noise is so much better in the OHV threads.

And yes, you can run 14psi on the stock internals. Is it a good idea? Not so much. You can run 20psi if you got the balls to do it. Depends on if you're prepared to rebuild the motor after two or three hard pulls. I wouldn't push more than 10psi without at least getting stronger pistons. The rods might take it at least for a while but bad things tend to happen to the stock slugs.
Anyone have some pictures of busted ring lands we can show him?
