I have a 02 Z24 with an AEM short ram intake and im planning on having a muffler shop do a header back system for me. What brand header is the best? I've seen one by OBX and Pacesetter. Whats a good muffler thats going to give me a good sound without sounding too ricey? Thanks alot
how big is the piping on the Borla System?
From what ive learned id say use no bigger than 2.25 inch on a na motor and 2.5+ on a turbo motor. I run 2.25 on a 2.2 ohv motor from the cat back with a 2 inch glass pack after the between the two. I run a 80 series flowmaster muffler. It has a good exhaust note i think. It has a nice deep tone to it at idle and a medium tone at wot. but as long as you use a good muffler and a resonator you shouldnt have to raspy of an exhaust note.
