I put my car in for service the other day for an oil change and for new spark plugs, the tech say my mobil 1 oil cap and thats what he put in(they charged me for reg. so whatever)

When I left I noticed a lot more back preasure or poping from my exhaust and the exaust is a tad lauder in general too....Im not saying the things that were done did cause it but could that be the case.....either way what are some other things I could look at for the cause of this happening.....

as I said I did not notice anything untill leaving the service lot.....

I's say its normal. Why would you pay someone to change your own oil and sparkplugs anyway? Simple things like that arent worth the waste of money for someone else to do..

I work for a dealer so I get it all done for cheap and saves me the hastle of jacking up the car etc.

Regardless, I will not take my car anywhere for anything that I can do myself. The one time I got lazy and took my car to get the oil changed, the rounded off the head of the drian plug completely and I did not know until the next oil change. Took a set of vise grips to get it off, then I had to get a new drain plug.

But as for your problem, I don't know how an oil change and spark plug change would cause anything to get louder as far as ur exhaust.
